Holding Boundaries in Relationships
Are you feeling stuck, disconnected, or lonely in an important relationship?
Relationships inevitably bring moments of discomfort, stemming from what the other person is doing, saying or asking of you, which comes in opposition to what your needs are.
What do you typically do? Are you a people pleaser, avoider, fighter to win?
Spoiler alert: These are often defensive reactions, seldom leading to connection.
Join us to look deeper into ways of identifying and holding your boundaries to help you feel seen and connected

Statement of intention from Holding Boundaries workshop facilitators Chris and Lucille:
We have found in our own relationship struggles these two essential skills go a long way: First, to get clearer about what our needs are, often hidden beneath our own defenses (reactivity); Second, to develop the skills to communicate in a caring way how we want our partner to support us, which includes respecting clear boundaries that protect our deeper sensitivities. In this way we are bringing ourselves honestly into the relationship and ultimately deepens intimacy.
