About the Mentors
Working Collectively to Help Others Build Embodied Relationships
Our mentors come from all over the globe with diverse lived experiences and certifications. Mentoring offers the following distinct features:

Mentors are walking the walk with you as a couple. You will benefit by the deep experience they bring to the work.

Mentors understand that committed relationships go through developmental stages that inform both them and you about where the work needs to go.

ERM recognizes that most relationship problems are not the result of pathology but due to a lack of education around key aspects such as conflict, emotional fluency, sexuality, and the role of the autonomic nervous system.

ERM understands that many relationships problems arise because partners do not know how to cultivate empathy for one another. They use creative tools to move you from protective states to empathic connection.

Mentors focus on the powerful role your bodies play in the relationship dance. They make space for the “bottom up” wisdom that each of your body’s has to offer.

Finally, mentoring recognizes that powerful, passionate emotions are part of the reality of being in a long-term committed relationship. Your mentor knows how to create a safe space for you to move through strong emotions in order to find your way back to connection and empathy.

Melissa: I am a somatic practitioner and spiritual activist. I believe that eros is the awakening force that transforms our defenses, our negative beliefs, distorted feelings and disconnection from animism.
Sanjay: I bring my full heart to meet you where you are, wherever that is. I work either on my own, or with my partner Melissa.
We work with couples to ground in their true selves so that they may step into their most expansive and rooted selves through intimate relationship

Karin (ACCEP/ERM): I am passionate about the ERM method. I view the sacred work that emerges within the shared energy field of the couple and the mentors as the most powerful vehicle for transformation and healing. I work by myself, with my life partner Ken, or with my colleague Doug Wirth.
Ken: My passion for the path of partnership comes from the challenge, growth, and pleasure I have experienced in my own lifelong desire to cultivate the keys to an exceptional love relationship. I believe that the universal human longing for connection and relationship can be used as a powerful crucible for healing and growth. I work as an individual and with my life partner Karin.

Sharon (LCSW-R): I am a licensed clinical social worker and have a full-time private practice working with individuals and couples. I have advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and couples' psychotherapy.
Lucille (RN, ACCEP): I work with individuals to live their fullest lives authentically, utilizing an embodied approach to personal transformation. I work with my wife Sharon.
We love working together and the beauty of co-facilitating embodied couple's mentorship sessions in the LGBTQ+ community to support couples to bring their fullest selves to their relationship and thrive individually and as a couple.

I bring a compassionate heart and a commitment to the sacred work of self-transformation. I am an Advanced Certified Core Energetics Practitioner and Intuitive Energy Healer. I am also certified in Embodied Couples Mentoring through the Exceptional Relationship Institute, and in Essentials of Trauma Treatment as well as Integrated Energy Therapy. I serve on the Faculty of the Institute of Core Energetics, which is a body- centered practitioner training. I support individuals and couples in private practice, lead groups, and teach a variety of healing modalities.

I am in private practice working with individuals, couples and groups. I am a student and teacher of the Pathwork Lectures and bring spiritual questions and tasks into the conversation. I believe in the spiritual significance of relationship. I approach the work as an inquiry into what is wanting to be healed and matured in each person and how the relationship is a conduit and / or obstacle to that healing and maturation. With maturation comes mutuality, lending to a more rich and deeper connection with ourselves and the other.
